Bola de Neve India

In Jesus We Trust

History Of Ministry

The year was 2006, soon to be 2007, on the 31st in the city of Bangalore India. There was a big party going on in St. Marks Hotel, many were drinking and celebrating the coming of the New Year and all that meant. Many, but not Joseph. Joseph was at the party working as a sound mixer, all the while complaining to himself and to god, asking what was he doing there and why was he even working there in this kind of party and crowd.

Ministries You Can Be Involved

The Children Ministry and Youth Ministry are the very heart of our church, through Bola Kids focused in various activities.

The Worship Ministry is one of our churches backbone, centered in the worship and praise of our Lord through music.

The Welcome Ministry is the face of the church, focused on welcoming new people and also keeping in touch with them.

The Intercession Ministry is the spiritual watchdogs of our congregation, responsible for protecting the church and its members from spiritual attacks and oppression. We are very blessed for having dedicated and committed intercessors.

The Audio Ministry is the church’s ears, responsible for recording the audio of the service services and messages, burning CDs and and distributing them to church members as well as across Christian bookshops around the city.

If the Audio Ministry is our ears, The Video ministry is our eyes, responsible for the visual recordings or services and messages as well as their distribution, plus the live transmission of the Intercession Ministry services.

The Leadership Ministry is a place for the new believers to grow into leaders. It was greatly inspired and modelled after the cell leaders from Bola Santos, in its initial years.

The Sports Ministry focuses on attracting children and allowing God to reach them through sports.

The Performing Art Ministry focuses on equipping children from the church for music, drama, dance, arts and sports.

Pastor’s Personal & Ministry Page

November 23rd of 2011 was the day Pastor Joseph & Nikita came into the convenant of marriage.

It was an amazing time for him, as well as for the church in India. The day was also made special by the visitation of Pastor Eric, Pastor Shiela and the church members of Santos (Brazil).

We were blessed to receive an amazing word from Pastor Eric, which became the benchmark for all those who gathered.

If you’d like to see the photos from the amazing trips Pastor Joseph took to Brazil (and more), simply click the photo with the correct caption.

  • The year was 2006, soon to be 2007, on the 31st in the city of Bangalore India.

Sure, it wasn’t like he could afford to not take the job, having to provide for his mom’s medical care and dialysis (1000 dollars a month was expensive enough that he couldn’t afford to be picky), but he felt there had to be more than this, that there was something else he was meant to be doing with his life. As if in answer to his spoken and thought prayers, he heard a voice call to him, speaking to him as if someone was standing right beside him. This voice told him a ministry would be laid upon his shoulders to carry, that someone from Brazil would would invest said ministry upon him and through this, would grow across Asia.

“All things have their season, and in their times all things pass under heaven.”

Joseph didn’t take the calling seriously then, some random voice in the middle of the night, in the middle of a big party. But as he tried to move on as if nothing had happened, he found he simply couldn’t shake this event off. That same week he was approached by a stranger through Orkut (hey, don’t dish, this social network was pretty popular back in the 00s, before facebook’s big boom). Through God’s will, this person, whom he had never met or heard of, started to share the vision and mission of Bola de Neve Church with him, saying they had received a vision that led them to Joseph and to teaching Joseph about their Church and the gospel of Christ.

He was introduced to Pastors Eric and Sheila who became his spiritual guide and a major stepping stone for the growth of the Bola de Neve family in India, led by Apostole Rina. After sharing their respective visions and many stories, Joseph could not help but recognized God in this events, and with God’s aide, began working with the Bola de Neve Church, which led to the foundation of Bola de Neve’s first small-group, or cell.

As years passed, through the combined efforts of the pastors, apostle and the people, the Church grew in India, impacting the lives of many. Under guidance of God, Joseph was indeed invested with a ministry of his own, focused on youth and children, and it bore fruit. To this day, it has grown to over 200 members, 75 of wich are children or youth growing up hearing about God’s love and teachings, and the community is still growing, having sent 12 missionaries across different parts of India.

In the villages, most of the people earn less than 5 Reais per day, which is sufficient for them to manage their home. While the cost of the Bible is approximately 4 to 5 reais, so God has given us a burden to support each individual with a GIFT which can be everlasting in their life and so we invite people to come forward “EACH ONE GET ONE – BIBLE PROJECT”.

    TAILORING SCHOOL

The tailoring ministry centrally focuses on reaching the women by teaching them tailoring skills. In the near future we want to produce our own materials and develop a business partnership to use the materials produced by these women.
